In 1965, I was in a hospital in Ogallala, Nebraska.
It was there that I met a very special nurse.
In the months that followed, we dated and I fell in love with her.
Her name was Rose.

Dear _ _ _ _ _,
As you’ll recall, the Bible speaks in so many places (New Testament and Old Testament) about the importance of speaking audibly about what we confess, or pray for, or praise God for. In Psalms it says to do so with our lips, voice, and mouth, which I believe was said in those words to show us that it must be done audibly. We often make the mistake of excusing ourselves from doing it as above mentioned, and tell ourselves, “Well, God hears my thoughts; He doesn’t need to hear it audibly.” Which is true, BUT there is a reason for those inspired orders to do so audibly, even though He can hear and know our thoughts alone. Another outstanding example of it being His directions is Romans 10:9, 10. “If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” NIV
It was December 2004, the start of a new mission after our annual convention and 2 sister workers were to be in the area for the year ahead. The head brother worker was helping them out with the preaching over the next weeks/months. We had no idea as we went into that meeting, it was going to be our last one because we never expected what was going to be spoken.
I am a female living in West Virginia. I have lived in West Virginia all my life. I am now 59 years old and have four brothers and one sister. I am the third child and we were raised in a professing home from the time I was six years of age. Both my parents professed. My mother was raised in it, her parents giving up all they had to be worthy of having meetings in their home. The workers stayed there weeks at a time. The door to the house was never locked and the workers and their friends came and went whenever they wished. My grandparents would sometimes get up on a weekend and have around a dozen for breakfast. My grandmother wasn’t a strong woman, but a woman who loved the Lord and would do anything to please the workers.
Hold fast to truth. No matter who states truth - even if a donkey told you - it would still be truth.
