Let's Drop in on the Workers

Paul Lyon - "I would like to talk about the Way within the Way."

(The 'WAY' is mentioned some 55 times by Paul Lyon)

John 14:6

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Jeremy Gibson - ...We want to be separate and not mix in with activities of the world

Worker Jeremy Gibson – Manhattan, Montana #1 – June 23, 2006

In 1 Corinthians 2, I won't read the verses but particularly from verses 11 down, it tells us that we know the ways of men, of humans, by the spirit of man in us. Also, we might call it the human nature in us. That we know the ways of men and that we can only know the ways of God by having the Spirit of God. And if we have the Spirit of God, we'll think different than if we just have the spirit of man.

There is much difference between God and man. We know there is a difference between men an women. Men don't exactly understand how women think, and vise versa. But that is a small difference compared to the difference between the thinking of man and the thinking of God. And it is the Spirit of God that helps us understand the mysteries of heaven. Like even the purpose and the existence of hell, the Spirit of God teaches us that. Many people in the world want to think that that is just a scare tactic or there is nothing to hell, but the Spirit of God teaches us why there is a hell. And it teaches us why Jesus had to die for us.

To many people, that is a mystery that seems foolish. But the Spirit of God teaches us those things.

God wants us to know the way He thinks about things. He wants us to know His judgment. And if we are confused about how God thinks, it is because of our unwillingness to accept. Either to search and ask God why or just unwillingness to accept His answers.

I was in confusion for a couple years about whether I was supposed to be in 'the work,' just because of my unwillingness.

John Porterfield Funeral Sermon with L.F. Rebuttal

(The following 2x2 Worker’s funeral sermon is SO full of self-contradiction, contradiction of Scripture and even blasphemy that I am tempted to comment on each sentence. However, the reader will be left without such a LONG (boring) refutation – I will greatly limit my comments in empathy for the willfully uneducated status of most 2x2 Workers with specific regard to the Bible. L.F.)

I had some serious and exact questions but didn't get exact answers.

In 2001, I was still attending meetings.  As explained in the letter, I was having discussions with my friend about religion.  I was so embarrassed because I couldn’t answer any of her questions.  Thus, I wrote this letter.

I wrote it to a worker in our field when I was young.  I trusted this worker would give me an honest truthful answer.  I think she answered with a whole heart and the best she could. I still respect and have very fond memories of this worker.

At the time, I was excited to get a response.  I had some serious and exact questions.  But I did not get exact answers.  I got what you will read here.  And here is the most shocking thing…I took these answers and didn’t question them.  I didn’t notice that some were half answers.  I didn’t notice some were vague answers.  I didn’t notice some of my questions weren’t answered.  What she answered was enough to keep me believing in the way.

The New Testament Ministry According to Workers

Religion which is begun in hypocrisy, will certainly end in apostasy.
~ ~William Spurstowe

There are basically only two kinds of religion in the world: those based on human achievement and those based on divine accomplishment.  One says you can earn your way to heaven; the other says you must trust in Jesus Christ alone.

~ ~John MacArthur
